Rental Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Rental Policy explains how appliance rental works at Kitchen4 — what you pay, what is included, and how to cancel. It applies to appliances rented on a monthly basis, such as the Philips 5400 Series coffee machine.
1. About our rental service
Kitchen4 lets you rent selected home appliances for a simple fixed monthly fee instead of buying them outright. You get the use of a brand-name appliance, delivered and installed free, with all servicing and repairs included, for as long as you want it. It is a rental — you use the appliance, but you never own it.
2. Who can rent
To rent from us you must be aged 18 or over, be a UK resident, and provide a valid UK delivery address. We do not carry out credit checks, so renting has no impact on your credit file.
3. Your monthly payment
- The rental price is shown on the product page — for example, £17.99 per month for the Philips 5400 Series.
- There is no deposit and no hidden fees. The monthly price is all you pay.
- Your first payment is taken when your rental starts, and the same amount is then charged automatically each month.
- Payments continue every month for as long as you keep the appliance, and stop when you cancel.
4. Free delivery and installation
We deliver and install your appliance free of charge across mainland UK. Our team will unbox it, set it up, and make sure it is working before they leave. You will receive confirmation and a delivery slot by email once your rental is arranged.
5. Maintenance, repairs and replacement
All servicing and repairs are included at no extra cost. If your appliance develops a fault, contact us at help@kitchen4.co.uk and we will repair it free of charge. If a fault cannot be repaired, we will replace the appliance at no cost to you.
6. Ownership
The appliance remains the property of Kitchen4 (a trading name of ADFUR LIMITED) at all times. Renting does not transfer ownership to you, and there is no option to buy the appliance at the end of a rental. When you cancel, the appliance is returned to us.
7. Looking after your appliance
Please use the appliance normally and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Fair wear and tear from everyday use is completely fine and expected. You are responsible for keeping the appliance safe, and for any loss or for damage beyond fair wear and tear caused by misuse, accident or neglect.
8. Cancelling your rental
- You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- To cancel, email us at help@kitchen4.co.uk and we will arrange a free collection at a time that suits you.
- Your monthly payments stop once the appliance has been collected.
9. Your 14-day right to change your mind
Because you order online, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you cancel within this period, we will arrange free collection and refund the payments you have made, and you will not be charged again.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Rental Policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies to your rental. Any changes will not affect the monthly price of a rental you have already started.
