Warranty & Replacement
At Kitchen4 we want you to buy with confidence. Every appliance we sell — from air fryers and vacuums to washing machines, fridge freezers, boilers and garden sheds — is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as well as your legal rights under UK consumer law. This page explains how warranty cover works, how to make a claim, and how we handle faulty or dead-on-arrival items.
Manufacturer’s warranty
Products sold by Kitchen4 come with the manufacturer’s guarantee, which we pass through to you in full. Standard cover is typically 12 months or more from the date of delivery, depending on the brand and model. Some manufacturers offer longer or extended cover, and any registration steps or terms are set by the manufacturer. The warranty length that applies to your item is shown on the product page or in the documentation supplied with your order.
Dead on arrival (DOA)
If your appliance arrives damaged, or does not work correctly out of the box, please treat it as dead on arrival. Contact us within 30 days of delivery at help@kitchen4.co.uk or call +44 121 409 1141. Where possible, keep the original packaging and send us photos or a short description of the fault. For confirmed DOA items we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any delivery costs, at no charge to you.
How to make a warranty claim
To start a claim, please contact our team with the following details:
- Your order number and the date of delivery
- The product name or model number
- A clear description of the fault, with photos or a short video if you can
We will confirm the best route for your claim — this may be direct with us or, for certain products, through the manufacturer’s dedicated service line, which we will help you access.
Repair, replacement or refund
Where a product develops a fault within the warranty period, the usual remedies are repair, replacement or refund. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is faulty within the first 30 days you have the short-term right to reject it for a full refund. After 30 days you are entitled to a repair or replacement; if that is not possible, or is unsuccessful, a refund or price reduction may apply. We will always confirm the remedy with you before proceeding.
What is and isn’t covered
Warranty cover applies to genuine manufacturing faults and defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover:
- Accidental damage, misuse, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
- Normal wear and tear, or consumable parts such as filters and seals
- Damage from incorrect installation, unauthorised repairs, or modifications
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
Your statutory rights
A manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you also have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days. Any personal data we process to handle your claim is handled in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights.
